The Wildlife Center presents about 50 environmental education programs each year to area schools, Scout groups, civic organizations, and other interested groups. We prefer to speak to an entire school or grade level as opposed to a single classroom. Few programs are done during the spring and summer months due to the sharp increase in admissions from May through August. Field trips are available with prior arrangements.

Consider sponsoring an educational program for your children's school. Additional information is available on our brochure that may be viewed and printed.

Each of the Wildlife Center's educational animals helps build the awareness of the importance of wildlife in West Texas and the need to preserve the habitats where they live.

Animals available for adoption are permanent, non-releasable residents of the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Visit our Adoption Page!
