Donate in Honor of Simon

Simon came to SPWRC in 2017 after a game warden confiscated him from an illegal pet situation. For 25 years, this Chihuahuan raven lived in a wired crate, survived on an improper diet, and never learned to fly or live as a wild bird. When he arrived, he chose our barn as his safe place, and for nearly a decade he became a constant companion to our staff, volunteers, and interns. Simon passed away recently after a gradual decline in health. His story represents exactly why our work matters — giving animals who have been mistreated, displaced, or misunderstood a second chance. If you would like to honor Simon’s life and legacy, your donation will directly support the care of other animals like him and help us create a memorial in his honor.
